Wiring is used very commonly within Kinectros in almost every single thing. From the smallest parts of the ship to the most important part of the engine, wiring is used. To not have extra would be extremely stupid of anyone who works on the ship, as if something breaks, without more wiring it'll be a hard task to fix.

Every single item that is shipped from the loading bay is locked securely within a cargo box. These boxes were designed by an old inventor on Kinectros, and they have been commonly used since. They are fire and spark-proof and are password protected depending on the contents inside. 

Self-powered flashlights are extremely common-place on Kinectros. It's an energy efficient way of utilizing your own energy. Just like the name suggests, electric Isopups grip the softer more sensitive part of the flashlight which takes in electricity from the Isopup, which then converts into something usable and the flashlight utilizes that to make a glow. The color of the light depends on the color of the Isopup's electricity.
