A merchants travel (Story)

I was walking near that old cave system no one goes near anymore to gather materials for my art piece's & to see if there's any old items there I can sell. Halfway through one of the main tunnels (I assume), I see a blocked off area with boards covering it. Curious I lifted & tore the boards off within about a minute, was quite easy probably due to the fact the boards seemed to be decades old. A few minutes in & it felt  a bit more warm, was it fire, lava even? I didn't really know at the time. Soon the walls started to look different the more I walked down. They looked more sooth & wavy, some parts even had a few crystals to be seen. Then the walls started curving, kinda like a long & wide spiral staircase. Near what is now the "end", the walls are breaking away to show light. But not from the sun, but lava. It was terrifying, but also kinda beautiful. Luckily I'm not the kind to be affected by such heat, I still feel it but it's not to a death-boiling degree, just like being in the sun outside really. But this lava pit looked *interesting*. It seemed to had something that had lived here. Maybe it was fire-typed isopup, or a dragon. I still don't know who lived here but I know they didn't have good intentions. There was few old weapons from whoever lived here. I saw what I can assume to have been used as a bed of some sorts. Then it seemed there was a second opening behind it which seemed to be more cooler. It was covered in some dryed up leaves which shattered from me moving them, probably due to age along with the lack of moisture. What layed behind it was a metal chest with a lock. But it had already been unlocked. I didn't really want to open it due to the fact someone could've already taken what laid inside, that is if anything was there also. But curiosity got the best of me, & I'm happy it did. Inside the chest as multiple Fire potions, chilli peppers, & element trait upgrades. I can definitely make a great profit off of these treasures. Took me a good 2 hours to get out of the cave.... mostly because I got lost.

It was the day to sell these in the market in the main city in Mira. I quickly got my stuff & headed to the market. I decided to price these at good equal price, 7 for a fire potion (each), 50 runes for the element trait upgrades, & 20 runes for a dozen chilli peppers. Didn't take long to get business booming. Took only 5 hours to have had everything sold out. Made quite a bank, but since it was late I decided to spend some on some on some dinner & headed home for the night. Right as I was about to go to sleep I got a news letter from...... Wait... Ain't no way. THE RULER?????  Despite the excitement to read it immediately, I was dying to go to sleep.

So, it's turns out that cave I stumbled apon turned out the home of this old fire isopup that was a heroic fighter. Turns out my fatass feet made big ass footprint indents, someone had reported seeing them & followed them to the old home I had just found. They also took a DNA test from some spare hairs that feel off so they could tell it was me & send the letter... BAD NEWS, I probably took that iso's old stuff & gave some iso's way over expired peppers.........
